Day 1 Airport to Kandy

  • Airport Pick up and On the way to Kandy visit millennium elephant foundation
  • Stay night at Kandy.

Day 2 Kandy City Tour

  • Temple of the tooth – One of the foremost sacred places of worship of the Buddhist world. Relic of the tooth of the Buddha is securely enshrined in this temple.
  • Kandy city tour – Take a stroll in the city known as the hill capital of the island.
  • Peradeniya Gardens – In short, this is a place where many historical temples including the amazing Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and other landmarks are located and you would feel amazing when you see them with your own eyes!
  • Cultural Dance – End the day with a show comprising dance routines unique to Sri Lankan culture.

Day 3 Nuwara Eliya

  • Tea factory – Experience the tea manufacturing process before enjoying a freshly brewed cup of famous Ceylon tea.
  • Gregory Lake & Waterfalls – Kids will love a boat ride in this picturesque lake.
  • Tea plantation – Enjoy the beauty of tea plantations draping down from the sides of the mountains as you pass by. Enjoy the hill country scenery and waterfalls – Appreciate the nature friendly trail abundant with green filled mountains and waterfalls wrapping the mountains with scenic beauty.
  • Back to Kandy.

Day 4 and 5 Sigiriya

  • Dambulla Cave Temple – A temple is renowned for its mural paintings and Buddhist statues (this is yet another UNESCO world heritage sites).
  • Sigiriya Rock Fortress – Another UNESCO world heritage site not to be missed and enjoyed by both adventure seekers and history buffs alike. Visit the ancient fresco and ruins of once the magnificent castle of king Kashypa.
  • Visit to Minneriya National Park.

Day 6 Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa

  • Visit the Museum, Royal Place, Statue of King, Gal Viharaya Statue, Lankathilaka Temple, Shiva Devalaya and etc…
  • Angammedilla National Park is one of the new national parks in Sri Lanka. The region was designated national park in 2006. The park is declared mainly to protect the drainage basin of Parakrama Samudra, Minneriya and Girithale irrigation tanks, water sources in Sudu gange (River) and habitats and wildlife of the adjacent forests.
  • The Kingdom of Polonnaruwa was completely self-sufficient during King Parakramabahu’s reign.

Day 7 and 8 Trincomalee Beach

  • The hot springs in Trincomalee is always a major tourist attraction. There are the seven hot springs of Kinniya on the way to Trincomalee.
  • The Nilaveli beache are used for recreational purposes such as surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. The city is renowned for housing the largest Dutch fort in Sri Lanka.
